PROBLEM
In certain environments with high latency networks or low capacity bandwidth from the server to the client machines, it is possible for the Contact Center Client Application updates to timeout before being fully applied. For situations like this, it is possible to manually deploy the updates.
PROCESS
NOTE: On 64bit operating systems the working folder will be C:\Program Files(x86) not C:\Program Files
NOTE: Ensure none of the applications are running prior to you performing these steps
Disable prairieFyre Updater Service on the client machine:
- Click on START, RUN and type in SERVICES.MSC then click OK
- Scroll through the list of services until you find prairieFyre Updater Service
- Right click on the updater service and select STOP
- Right click on the updater service and select PROPERTIES
