INTRODUCTION

Here are the best practices for provisioning a new queue in MiCC for Lync.

Following these best practices will allow you to avoid problems saving and provisioning the queue, and confusing malfunctions when testing after the initial provisioning.

BEST PRACTICES

1.  When creating a new queue, make sure you assign an Agent Group in the Members tab before saving for the first time.

2.  After saving the queue, but before testing, have any agents who are members of the group that will answer for that queue either:

    a) log out of Ignite, and back in, or
    b) use the Group Presence controls in Ignite to make themselves absent in the Agent Group for the new queue, and then present again.

APPLIES TO

MiCC for Lync 5.10.x
