IVR - Pre-programmed holidays do not compensate for landing on a weekend

PROBLEM

Pre-programmed holidays in IVR do not compensate for landing on a weekend.

For example, Boxing Day (December 26th) 2015 lands on a Saturday.  As such, the holiday is moved to the following Monday the 28th.  IVR will continue to consider the 26th the holiday and Monday the 28th to be a normal workday.

RESOLUTION

In order to compensate, we recommend adding a new Holiday in YourSite Explorer for your exception in order to ensure that it is applied for that year.

For example, "Boxing Day 2015" would be configured for Every December 28th.  Once Boxing Day 2015 has passed, delete this entry.

APPLIES TO

 IVR all versions
